HISTORY
built in Denmark in 1928
Initially built for scientific research, the Norda was then converted into a fishing boat before briefly being used to repatriate German soldiers after Russia invaded Poland. SAFETY
even for the youngest sailors
With a 1m high guardrail the youngest of our guests can walk around the deck freely and very safely, under surveillance and with a harness of course! Under sail the Norda will leave you feeling comfortable and secure thanks to her extended keel running the total length of her hull.


LIFE ON BOARD

The deck, spaciously structured with different zones, offers to each their own intimate space. It is ideal for guests to collectively share the high moments together, while offering to each a quiet corner to relax, read a book or chat quietly whether it be under sail or on a stopover.

HOSPITALITY

The three daily meals, inspired by regional specialities and prepared on board with fresh and local produce, will be served according to the ambience of the moment: as an open buffet on the deck, table service on the poop deck or in our charming saloon.

EQUIPMENT

In order to make your encounters with the cetaceans more accessible, to diversify your activities and to give you the freedom to enjoy your stay, we have at your disposal snorkelling material as well as 2 family size canoes. Our tender is there to taxi you to and from the shore during our halts.

PERSONAL SPACE

The layout on Norda is conceived in such a way that it can accommodate groups or families who wish to share common sleeping quarters as well as couples or individuals who wish to have their intimate space in a private cabin.

From the moment we first stepped foot on the Norda, we instantly fell in love with her. This old rig solidly built in Danemark in 1928, with her high guardrails, her stability at sea, the space on board and her charm, is the ideal travelling companion with which to welcome you aboard to discover traditional sailing between Islands and Whales!
